Pranuti is an Research Assistant at CSEI.

Pranuti finished her B.Sc Hons Physics from Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher learning and M.Sc Geoinformatics from Institute of Environment Education and Research, Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune.
During Post-graduation, Pranuti took up a summer internship at IIC Technologies, Hyderabad and another major internship at ATREE, Bangalore.  After Post-graduation, she served in the UAV sector and then moved to research field in 2018.

At CSEI Pranuti uses her Remote sensing and GIS capabilities for the Food Futures and Rural Water Security project. She likes to use Remote Sensing and GIS as tools in creating a sustainable future.

Apart from the academic interests, Pranuti is also a trumpeter, biker and loves trekking and other outdoor activities.
