Apoorva is Manager (Science and Research) at CSEI. Her role involves knowledge synthesis and informing the development of initiatives related to water, food, agriculture and cities. She is presently leading a study titled ‘Understanding sustainable food production and consumption linkages around Bengaluru’ related to regenerative agriculture and urban consumer food preferences as a part of the research programme – ‘Sustainable and Healthy Food Systems’ – funded by the Wellcome Trust, UK. She has an interdisciplinary master’s in Technology and Development (M.Tech.) from IIT Bombay and a bachelor’s degree in Telecommunication Engineering (B.E.) from PES Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
Apoorva is interested in sustainable water management and design and evaluation of development interventions. She has 7+ years of research experience related to water and development.
