Kaavya is a communications associate at CSEI.

She worked as a journalist for five years, first as a reporter for The Hindu in Trivandrum and then as an online news editor for the Hindustan Times in New Delhi. She then completed an MSc in Climate Change, Development and Policy at the Institute of Development Studies.

Prior to joining CSEI, Kaavya was part of the Word Lab at the Indian Institute for Human Settlements where she provided editorial support, helped distill research into more accessible formats and conducted writing classes.
